Trails of Greystones

Greystones Archaeological and Historical Society, in association with the La Touche Legacy Committee, has published the Trails of Greystones, a guide to a walking tour of some of Greystones’s most historic sites. The route, which begins and ends close to the DART station, will take you on a leisurely ramble through highlights of the town’s past, some of which may be well-known, while others are more quirky and unexpected. Discover Greystones’s links with 1916 and its part in the women’s suffrage campaign, seek out its many literary and artistic connections, recall its maritime associations going back to the days when it was just a tiny fishing village, and much, much more. Printed copies of Trails of Greystones are available, free of charge, at Greystones Library and at numerous businesses around the town - do pick up a copy, and enjoy the walk! Alternatively, a copy of the guide can be accessed by clicking on the image below.
