While doing this two ladies approached us and started to
shout “We do not need property developers in Greystones -
thank you”.

We tried to explain that we were replicating old images of
Greystones taken by Victorian/Edwardian photographers. We
continued to take our photographs much to the annoyance of the
two ladies, who continued to shout that Greystones did not need
property developers. We withdrew to a kiosk near the beach for
an Ice cream.

I have returned many times to Greystones and each time
received a warm welcome. But I will always remember the day I
was run out of town.
