21st May 2025
Our next talk will take place on 21st May 2025 in the Holy Rosary Church, Family Centre, Greystones, starting at 7.30pm.
Our speaker on the evening will be our new Chairperson, Cormac Moore, his subject being the story of the Boundary Commission, based on his just-released book The Root of All Evil: The Boundary Commission.
The Boundary Commission was described by James Craig, the Ulster Unionist leader as the root of all evil, while being a symbol of hope for Nationalist Ireland. However, its implementation boosted the Unionist cause, while swathes of Northern Nationalists were abandoned.
Cormac’s book will be on sale at a special price of €20 on the night. As we do not have the facility for taking credit card payments, it will be cash only.
There will be a small charge of €3 per Member and €5 per non-member to defray the costs of the venue, and we hope to see many of you on the night. All are welcome.
